Somatic Healing FAQ’s

  • Somatic movement is any movement you do with intention and mindfulness. It can be as simple as walking barefoot to feel the floor, reaching high with your arms to take up space and feel confident, or shaking your limbs to release pent up energy. (My favorite is the impromptu kitchen dance party.)

  • No experience is necessary. Somatic movement isn’t about how well you move, it’s about moving with intention. Whether you’re brand new to paying attention to your body, or you’ve had a movement practice for years, somatic coaching can help you find new ways to connect to your mind and body.

  • It takes times to build something beautiful. When you set consistent time aside for yourself, you commit to building healthy habits that support long lasting change toward the life you truly desire.

  • You’ll get a link to a zoom meeting when you schedule a session. For our session, you can set up in your coziest corner of your favorite place. If it’s available, find a room that’s relaxing and free of distractions. Wear something comfortable and do whatever you need to feel good: surround yourself with pillows on the floor, curl up in your favorite chair in your office or lay on the ground with your favorite mood lighting (and your cell phone silenced.)

  • Payment is due at the time of session, and I accept all major credit cards, HSA credit cards and Venmo.
